Honoring God through Our Relationship with Him
The Lord declares, “Those who honor Me, I will honor.” Do you wonder what it means to honor the Lord and have Him honor you? What does a life look like that is blessed with the honor of God Himself? How do you honor God in everything? Life can get so complicated. The demands around you can cause you to operate in a mode of survival, barely making it through each day without much thought of “honoring” anyone in it. But what an incredible promise we’ve been given. The Lord Himself has declared that He will honor you if you will honor Him.
The writer of the letter to the Hebrews said, “We want to live honorably in everything we do” (Hebrews 13:18). That means in every decision, in every relationship, in every circumstance of life, we want to give God center stage—to magnify His name, to praise Him, to remember He is in control, and to lift Him up! How do you honor God in everything you do? This study will explore that very question as you examine eight key relationships in your life. Through looking into God’s Word, you will discover treasures that will give you the tools to intentionally honor God and to open up the pathway of honor.
