Small Groups
At LBC small groups are a great place to develop friendships and grow in your faith. We offer a number of different small groups as seen below: (for more info on a group see the Small Group Navigation.)
Are you ready to be challenged in your relationship with Jesus? Are you ready to CONNECT with those in our body? Are you ready to SERVE the God we love in a whole new light? We encourage you to be a part of a small group which is the heart of LBC. Small Groups are now forming and starting the week of September 14th. Home Groups
Groups of 6 to 15 people, including men and women, who meet on weeknights in homes and emphasize relationships, prayer, and Bible discussion. Home groups often discuss what they are learning from the current weekend sermon series.
Fellowship Groups
Life-stage groups which combine interactive teaching, prayer, and getting to know one another. They are “larger small groups” which offer many of the advantages of a small group with the convenience of a Sunday morning meeting time.
Iranian Christian Fellowship
This is a special fellowship group focussed on speaking the word of God to Iranians and Farsi speaking people in our community. A wonderful Iranian couple, Nadar and Fereshteh, host the group every Sunday afternoon at the church in room A-3 from 1:00-3:00. Crown Financial Ministry Groups
Crown Financial Ministry groups are short-term Bible studies that teach you how to get out of debt, how to use your money for God’s work, and how to be a good steward of your resources. These are offered every fall, winter/spring, and summer.
Singles Fellowship Group
Our Singles group meets monthly for fellowship and food! Currently on break and will resume early 2010, to be announced. Check back here for more information.
Care/Support Groups
Each of these groups has a different focus such as grief support, addiction recovery, women’s divorce and widow support, and abortion recovery. More information…
Foundations Groups
These groups cover the foundational truths of the Christian faith. They are great for newer believers or people interested in Christianity. We currently offer Foundations 1, which meets Sundays at 8:45 am in Room A-11.
