Looking for more confidence in sharing your faith? Do you get to the topic of spiritual things with unbelievers and feel you lack the tools to share the gospel with them?
Then EE is probably for you. Here’s why. I believe most Christians have a deepdown desire to share their faith with friends, family and work associates. But because most have not had the training, they feel ill-prepared…and therefore intimidated. And the last thing they want is for someone to come up with a question they cannont answer.
Question: Can you become an airline pilot without first practicing in a real plane? Then how could you learn how to share your faith by staying in a classroom and listening to lectures? This is the secret to EE’s success at training people how to share their faith. You must learn how to do it by doing it, not just talking about it.
Evangelism Explosion is a 13-week training course to give you the content and experience you need to feel comfortable in sharing your faith. Through lectures and actual witnessing with qualified trainers, you are shown how to do it effectively. Offered on Wednesday nights in a Fall and Spring semester format, the evening starts with a 45 minute lecture. We then break into teams of three for review and then, as teams, go out to use what we have learned. At the end of the evening, when everyone gets back, we share the stories of what God did in our lives and in the lives of the people we talked to.
Sound scary? Most people are…the first week. Then they can’t wait to get out there. That’s because they have an experienced trainer first showing them how it’s done and they are seeing amazing things happen.
If you are interested in taking EE, you have to be prepared to make a commitment. It’s every Wednesday night, plus 3 hours of homework each week.
