Did you know…

There are 5,000 deaf people in Kern County; many of whom have hearing family members, making the deaf/deaf-related ministry target group as large as 15,000-20,000.
Deafness is a culture of its own because of language and economic barriers and issues.
This is an unreached people group that crosses ethnic, religious and socio-economic boundaries.
The opportunities at LBC is ripe for reaching this mission field within our community.
Deaf pastor, Jeff Jackson and his wife Maura, are passionate about pursuing this ministry under LBC leadership.
The LBC board of elders recommended that we launch this ministry in March 2005.

LBC has a ministry geared to those that require sign language, American Sign Language (ASL). You are welcome to join us! For more information and schedule, please contact the deaf church office.

Sunday Worship

• Held in the LBC Activity Center
• Begins at 10:30 am
• Children’s Sunday School for all ages 10:30 am
  

Bible Studies

• Sunday Mornings at 9:00 am in A5
• Every Sunday Night 5:00 – 7:00 pm in A5 (Men’s Fellowship at Denny’s on Rosedale Hwy)
• Every Wednesday 10:00 am – 12 noon At LBC in the Choir Room
• Men’s and Women’s Bible Study Wednesday nights, 6:30 – 7:30pm, LBC room A5, Childcare is provided
