Deaf Church

There are 5,000 deaf people in Kern County; many of whom have hearing family members, making the deaf/deaf-related ministry target group as large as 15,000-20,000.

Deafness is a culture of its own because of language and economic barriers and issues.

This is an unreached people group that crosses ethnic, religious and socio-economic boundaries.

The opportunities at LBC are ripe for reaching this mission field within our community.

Deaf pastor, Jeff Jackson and his wife Maura, are passionate about pursuing this ministry under LBC leadership.
