WOMEN'S Ministry

LBC’s Women’s Ministry understands that women desire to be known, accepted and loved, and we believe that the way to experience this is through a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and through authentic relationships with others. Our goal is to provide opportunities for every woman to grow in her relationship with Jesus Christ as well as to connect with other women in a safe, honest and caring environment.

Bible Studies

Women’s Bible Studies meet September through May and newcomers are welcome throughout the study year. Registration is $10 per person and is payable the first day you attend. You’ll be able to choose the group you’d like to be involved with at the time that suits your schedule. Pick one that works for you and make the commitment to come, stay and participate.

Heart To Heart & Heart Sisters

These groups of 20 - 25 women meet monthly for the purpose of friendship, prayer, service and inspiration. The meetings include refreshments, devotions and a special speaker. A yearly project or two is chosen and the ladies have fun serving together. They also serve one another as needs arise. Knot Alone Groups

This seven-week study focuses specifically on grieving the losses associated with a spouse's sexual addiction (pornography/infidelity). As you work through these lessons and share your heart with other safe women, our hope is that you will begin to experience the healing God has for you. Women's Retreat 2013 - Hume Lake Christian Camps

April 19 -21, 2013

Hume’s retreats for women are designed with the word retreat in mind. Coming to Hume offers women of all ages a chance to get away to the majestic high sierras far away from the distractions and responsibilities of home and city life. Women attending Hume’s events simply have to get here and everything is already planned for them! It is truly a time for refreshment, relaxation, and spiritual renewal. We stop at nothing to provide: fabulous food, a variety of recreational activities, craft sessions, inspiring worship, as well as solid biblical teaching.

Keynote Speaker: Nicole Johnson

A bestselling author, performer, and motivational speaker, Nicole Johnson communicates with humor, compassion and wisdom using her unique blend of drama and speaking skills. Playing to sold-out crowds of approximately three million women as part of the "Women of Faith" conferences for over ten years, Nicole's "Fresh Brewed Life(R)" message gives hope for the daily grind to hard-working, overextended women everywhere.

Worship Band: Reveal

Reveal, based out of Orange County, is a worship group that was founded out of Biola University. The band began by serving their immediate community at the University, but they quickly began leading at churches and conferences throughout Southern California. They have now been leading worship together for the past four years and recently finished serving at Hume Lake Christian Camps for the summer as the Meadow Ranch Band. Throughout their time together, Reveal has been able to shape their craft to deliver a powerful and engaging live worship service. Reveal wants those who worship with them to engage with God, as well as openly and honestly reveal their hearts, as He reveals His heart to them. Through dynamic arrangements paired with a powerful female lead, Reveal is determined to have worship be much more than an opening and closing to a service, but a time where the Spirit moves freely and lives are changed.

Perhaps a hotel room is your idea of retreating... then our Premium Lodge rooms are for you. With amenities like a coffee maker, telephone and a refrigerator in your room you won't feel like you're "roughing it" at all. Each room can sleep up to 4 guests comfortably.
